Heading south along the coast of Australia

Our initial drive out of Sydney was on a four lane divided highway. We had a nice day as we headed out on Tuesday morning.

There was a large commuter train along the corridor. In some cases, the parking area was relatively small and then you would see cars parked alongside the road. In some cases it would have been quite a walk to get to the train.

Typical town along the coast.
We made a washroom break along the coast and parked right along the harbour.

Arriving at our stop for the night, it was a first for this trip. I had booked a 1 bedroom cabin at a campground.

This gave us a separate bedroom, a living room and full kitchen. I used the opportunity to do some extra food prep for times with lesser facilities. We had a wonderful meal of maple salmon and roasted veggies.

We had some rain, but nothing that impacted our stay. Tomorrow we’ll head inland towards the capital of Australia, Canberra.
